College

Once again like every year comes the dreading moment of the end of summer but at least this year I am done with high school!!
Goodbye summer! Goodbye sleeping in! And hello college!
I am not going to lie, I was terrified to start college!
I didn't know many people at my new school and the fact that the school is HUGE
was making me a bit nervous. I have to admit that coming on the first day of school,
walking around and not knowing anyone or anything was sort of destabilizing.
But the more I get used to it the more I like it! I made new friends (yay!)
and I actually like my classes! I can do anything I want because let's face it:
it's college and no one cares! I am loving all the newly acquired freedom!
I guess college isn't that bad after all!

Concerts

I had forgotten the excitement of going to a concert! Yesterday, I was reminded of the amazing feeling of being in a crowd and seeing one of your favorite band perform. When you first hear about that the band/artist you like are going to perform in your local town, you get so excited and then when you buy the tickets, you can't stop listening to their music. When you receive by mail the tickets you get even more excited for the big day. The day finally comes and all you can think about is that amazing concert you are about to see in a few hours. When you get there and the first part appears on stage, you get so excited because you know that in less than an hour you will see the band/artist perform. Then comes the band/artist and the crowd goes crazy. In my opinion the most magical moment of the night is when the band/artist sing that one song everyone knows the lyrics so the whole crowd sings along with the band/artist. It gives me chills every time! There's also that one song you love the most and when they sing it you just get overwhelmed. Around the end, when the band leaves for their encore, the crowd goes nuts because everyone knows it's almost the end but no one wants the night to end. And when the dreading moment comes, and you know this is the last song so you get a little bit sad because in a few minutes it will be all over. Sometimes, if you're lucky, the first part(s) will come out to hang out and take pictures at the venue. Then, you finally come home, still pumped with the adrenaline, look at all your pictures and think you had the night of your life. The next day when you wake up you start getting your post concert depression because you no longer have that amazing concert you simply can't wait for.

My 2014 journey

I hope everyone is off to a good start for 2014.
This year, or at least the firsts few months, I will be incredibly busy,
not that I am complaining or anything.

In about a week, I will be taking off from my home town,
Montreal, and go on an amazing adventure.
I will do a humanitarian trip in Senegal for an entire month!
I will be working with little kids and I will even get to see two of my
best friends that I rarely see and miss very much!
Also, I will have a stop for a few hours in Paris!
Once I come back, I barely have a few days to rest
and to prepare myself as I am leaving once again for another month.
This time, I will go to Cuba for a humanitarian trip with my class!
I cannot contain my excitement much longer!
Having said that, it also means, I won't be able to blog much
nor to post outfits and sets on polyvore...
I will however try to blog about my experience in Senegal on this website:
I wish you all a great beginning of year and great things!
Love you loads

New Year's Resolutions

Every year, I always make new resolutions that, for some reason,
can't seem to last more than a month...
This year is different (I swear!), I will, against all odds, respect ALL my resolutions.

So here's my resolutions for the upcoming year:
Enjoy the little things.
Be more positive.
Judge less.
See the best in people.
Trust people more.
Do more yoga.
Complain less.
Work harder.
Invest myself in the things I love.
Be more patient.
Live in the moment.
Worry less.
Be a better person.
Try new things
Meditate more.
Have no regret.

''A New Year is on the way and possibilities are endless.''
Happy New Year every one!

Christmas Movies

Now that it's finally Christmas break, I finally have time to get to
my Christmas movie list. It's a list of movies (obviously about Christmas)
that I want to watch before the 25th. With only three days left, I have to
hurry up, if I want to finish them all in time! My list include some of my
all time favorite and a new movie that I'll get the chance to discover.

On top of my list is Home Alone, which is one of my favorite movie!
The movie never fail to make me laugh!

Elf is hilarious! It's a must for the Holiday season.
Will Ferrell is doing a great job as Buddy the Elf.

How The Grinch Stole Christmas has always been one of
my favorite movies around Christmas time!

Home Alone 2 is almost just as good as the first one!
If you haven't seen it yet, you are missing out.

Christmas With The Kranks is the one movie I always
end up watching. The story is very different to what we're used to see.

Love Actually, now that is my ABSOLUTE favorite Christmas movie!
Unlike most of these film. I watch it all year long! The movie never gets old.

I've never watched Christmas Vacation, but after someone recommended
it to me, I decided to add it to my list.

Every Christmas, my parents and I always watch The Polar Express all together.
It's such a wonderful story! I definitely recommend it!

After looking for one last movie to watch, I saw the trailer for this movie,
and it seems very interesting!

Have fun watching Christmas movies!
